On December 1st the U.S Supreme Court will hear Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the most consequential abortion rights case to reach the court in nearly 50 years. As part of our work with The Center for Reproductive Rights (@ReproRights) helping to promote their vital work to protect abortion rights in the US and around the world, we recently brought @TIME to visit the last abortion clinic in Mississippi, Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which is represented by @ReproRights.

Julie Rikelman, Senior Director of Litigation, who will be arguing for the Center before the Supreme Court, spoke with TIME about the monumental stakes of this moment, noting that “if the Supreme Court upholds this ban, it will have effectively overturned Roe v. Wade.”

Repost• @reprorights “Back at her desk, in front of a sign reading Queen Warrior, Brewer considers the enormity of her role in the moment—the last director of her state’s last abortion clinic, just weeks before the most momentous high-court hearing on abortion in a generation. ‘I’m going to appreciate the time that we have,’ she says. ‘Once we go to court, every day that we are open and see patients and get to talk to them—it’s like we don’t know if this is the last time.’”

It’s the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree!🎄

Early this morning the carefully wrapped Norway Spruce, for the first time from Maryland, was cut and started its journey to NYC. It’ll arrive on Nov. 13, and get lit on Dec. 1. It’s an honor to get to work on this festive event and introduce new Rubenstein-ers to this tradition.
